FIGURE IN LANDSCAPE

A current body of work 2024, in which the artist has explored her immediate surroundings and the relationship between the individual and the natural world. Inspired by Samuel Palmers movement, ‘The Ancients’ Deborah has produced a large of body of work in oils, conte and pencil sketches as an observational response to her family set within rural surroundings. This was finalised with a 2m x 1.5m oil painting, ‘My Brother- An Ancient’ that was then exhibited at Nolias Gallery, London 2024 and Beyond the Prize, The Mall Galleries,London 2025.
